API Terms of Use

1. Access Restrictions

Access to the Parkeze API (api.parkeze.com) is strictly limited to approved developers only. All API access requests must be reviewed and explicitly authorized by Parkeze Inc. before any access credentials are issued.

Unauthorized access attempts or use of the API without proper authorization is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

2. Proprietary Rights

The Parkeze API, including all associated documentation, code examples, data structures, and responses, is the exclusive proprietary property of Parkeze Inc. All rights are reserved.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, display, or create derivative works from any part of the API, its documentation, or any data obtained through the API without explicit written permission from Parkeze Inc.

3. Approved Use Only

Approved developers may only use the API for the specific purposes outlined in their authorization agreement. Any use outside the scope of your authorization is prohibited.

  • API credentials are non-transferable and may only be used by the authorized developer or organization
  • You must not share your API keys, credentials, or access tokens with any third party
  • You must implement reasonable security measures to protect your API credentials
  • You must not exceed the rate limits or usage quotas specified in your authorization agreement

4. Intellectual Property Protection

All intellectual property rights related to the Parkeze API, including but not limited to patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and any other proprietary rights, remain the exclusive property of Parkeze Inc.

Your use of the API does not grant you any ownership rights or licenses beyond the limited access rights explicitly provided in your authorization agreement.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the API
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to API systems or networks
  • Using the API to create competing products or services
  • Scraping, data mining, or extracting data beyond your authorized use case
  • Interfering with or disrupting the API service or servers
  • Using the API for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Copying or redistributing API documentation or code samples

6. Data Usage and Privacy

Any data accessed through the API must be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. You must not misuse, sell, or share data obtained through the API except as explicitly authorized.

You are responsible for implementing appropriate security measures to protect any data obtained through the API.

7. Monitoring and Compliance

Parkeze Inc. reserves the right to monitor API usage to ensure compliance with these terms. We may audit your use of the API and request information about your implementation and usage patterns.

Any violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your API access without prior notice.

8. Termination

Parkeze Inc. reserves the right to terminate or suspend your API access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • You must immediately cease all use of the API
  • You must delete or destroy all API credentials and documentation
  • You must delete any data obtained through the API, unless retention is required by law

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The API is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Parkeze Inc. does not warrant that the API will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parkeze Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the API.

11. Changes to Terms

Parkeze Inc. reserves the right to modify these API Terms of Use at any time. We will notify approved developers of any material changes. Your continued use of the API after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
